On March 30, 2008, AGBU Young Professionals of Yerevan (YP Yerevan) organized a tree-planting outing in the park near the Tsitsernakabert Armenian Genocide Memorial. About 50 eager YPs participated in the event.
As a result of the group effort, a small tree grove in Yerevan now bears the “AGBU YP Yerevan” name. The group plans to take care of their parkette and they hope that every new member of the professional group will plant a tree in the park as a symbolic initiation into YP Yerevan.
