Sofia’s Camp Unger Registration Deadline July 31

Via the AGBU Europe blog:

All children of Armenian origin and between the age of 8 and 14 are invited to participate at Camp Unger in Bulgaria.

Participation fees are follows:
For children from Bulgaria: 135 leva
For two children from one family : 240 leva
For children outside Bulgaria : 150 euros

Deadline for registration is 31st of July 2008

Plovdiv’s AGBU Voice Hosts “Cute Faces” Photo Contest Kid’s Party

On April 28, 2008, 12 boys and girls attended the “Cute Faces” photo contest at the bowling room of Novotel Plovdiv. Organized by the AGBU Voice newspaper team, the contest involved reader participation and the April event included hours of games, fun and laughter.

The contest winners were the Mia Tilkian, who garnered the most reader votes, and three-year-old Ehi Uzunian, who was the runner-up.

The new contest will start September 2008 and include a contest for children’s drawings, poems, and songs. The theme of the upcoming competition will be “MADE FOR ME BY ME.”
