On Saturday May 10, AGBU Toronto and the AGBU Zaroukian School had their annual fundraising Gala.
On this occasion, the Alex Manoogian Cultural Centre Building Committee members were recognized for their dedication and formative role in the creation of Toronto’s AGBU community. Formed in 1982, the Building Committee, chaired by Bedros Tchilinguirian, was the driving force for the construction of the Toronto Center.

There was a noticeable youth presence at the event and members of YP Toronto mounted a small display in the lounge area of the Center to showcase their activities, while nearby, members of the AGBU Toronto basketball team participating in the AGBU World Games next month were conducting their own fundraising to support their efforts.
