On May 11, 2009, during a visit to New York, Mr. and Mrs. Bedros and Sossie Hadjian (at right), prominent educators from Buenos Aires, Argentina, visited the AGBU central office in New York. They attended a luncheon meeting with the AGBU staff members Artoun Hamalian (left), Bedros Piandarian (second from left), Anita Anserian and Aris Sevag (absent from photo).
Bedros Hadjian has newly retired from the post of principal of St. Gregory the Illuminator School, which he held for several decades. He is also the author of several volumes devoted to Armenian history and culture, a series of Armenian language textbooks, as well as short stories and a novel. Sossie Hadjian is a teacher of Armenian language at St. Gregory the Illuminator.
