SOFIA, “AraratNews” – The book My Grandmother by Turkish (Turkish-Armenian) lawyer Fethiye Cetin has been published and presented in Bulgarian for the first time by Ararat News (ANP) publishing house.
The book’s presentation took place on December 20 [2009] in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia during a Christmas concert organized by AGBU.
The author, Fethiye Cetin, was invited by the aforementioned publishing house and enjoyed the hospitality of Sonia Bedrosian, chairman of AGBU [Sofia].
More than 300 persons, including Armenia’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Sergey Manassarian, were present at the book presentation. Fethiye Cetin stated that she felt honored to meet the Armenian community of Bulgaria and speak about her book.
The book My Grandmother was first published in Turkey in 2004 and then translated into Armenian, French, English, Greek, Italian and Dutch.
