2009 YSIP Interns Blog About Their Experiences in Armenia


Starting today, we have begun posting stories by AGBU 2009 Yerevan Summer Intern Program (YSIP) staff and students at the official AGBU YSIP blog.

We begin with YSIP 2009 activities coordinator Aleen Tina Tovmasian (also a YSIP 2007 alumna) who shares her feelings about returning to help this year’s YSIP interns:

I could not control my excitement. Having arrived over a week and a half before the interns, all I wanted was for the program to begin. The days seemed interminable, and the final preparations seemed to multiply by the minute, but it did not matter.

Pretty soon, I would be able to introduce this country to a group of twenty-five extremely qualified students, fresh college graduates, and motivated graduate students from all over the world.
