On Friday, January 7, 2011, AGBU’s Young Professionals (YP) of Plovdiv held a food bazaar to raise money for the AGBU Plovdiv Green School, a summer camp which has been taking place since 2005.
The bazaar was held at the Armenian Cultural House of Plovdiv. Food products were donated by the Armenian restaurant Erevan, AGBU Plovdiv – The Lady’s Society, and the Armenian-owned cake factory AGI-1.
A hundred people attended, including members of YP Plovdiv, representatives from the newspaper AGBU Voice, students from V & K Tutundjian Armenian School, board members of AGBU Plovdiv, and members of the board of Surp Kevork Church. Collectively, attendees helped raise $350, which will benefit underprivileged kids wishing to attend the upcoming 2011 summer camp.
